How we work

Smart technology

During our straightforward application process, we make a secure connection to your bank account in order to run our affordability checks.

Once you are a customer we use this connection to track your balance daily, allowing us to deposit money into your account when you need it and take repayments when you can afford them.

Smart repayments

Repayments you can afford

You can make a manual repayment at any time or rely on our automatic system which will only take a repayment when you have sufficient funds in your bank account.

We will never take you beyond your overdraft limit when taking a repayment, and any principal that is paid goes straight back into your available credit limit.

Responsible and fair lending

Clear and simple pricing

We charge 80p per £100 borrowed (0.8%) per day, for up to 40 days only, so you will never pay more than £32 per £100 borrowed.

You are only charged interest on the money you borrow. There are no other fees or charges.

Borrowing money

Use your account your way

Transfer money into your bank account within 15 minutes using your personal Safety Net Credit dashboard or mobile app.

Or switch on the optional Automatic SafetyNet feature, designed to prevent unauthorised overdraft fees by paying funds into your bank account (up to your credit limit) when your balance is low.
